Young driver will debut in Spanish F4 for the Campos Racing team, while Bortoleto carried out two days of private tests in F1
Drivers who will represent Brazil in international motorsports in 2025, Miguel Costa and Gabriel Bortoleto met in the pits in Barcelona, Spain, this Thursday (30). While Bortoleto carried out private tests in F1, Miguel is also training to make his debut in Spanish F4.
The two drivers will even race with the same number in the 2025 season. “We will both race with number 5 this year. I will be racing in my first season after leaving karting and he will be racing in his first season in F1, so we joke about it. I wish Gabriel a great year and may he bring very special achievements to us Brazilians”, says Miguel, who will train at the Catalan circuit this Friday and Saturday.
Before making his debut in the Spanish F4 at the end of March, Miguel has confirmed that he will be racing his first official race in the Winter Series, in Jerez. The winter championship will start next weekend and will be the first races for the Campos Racing driver to continue gaining more and more experience with the car.
“I am really looking forward to this first race. I believe that the Winter Series will give me important experience before the start of the F4 year. We have already tested at the Navarra circuit and were always in the top 5, so I am excited”, says Miguel.
The Spanish F4 will start between March 28th and 30th at MotorLand.
