Brazilian 10 year-old driver was Italian champion among rookies and hopes to conquer even more achievements next year in his second full season in Europe.

Young talent of Brazilian karting abroad, Miguel Costa ended his first full season in Europe. The 10-year-old has been a rookie Kart Italian champion with three wins and has participated in several competitions such as the World ROK and the World Series Karting.

“It was a very special and changing year in my career. I was competing in the US until last year, so I went through an adaptation process with karts here in Europe. I was rookie champion of the Italian Karting Championship, ranked fifth in Le Mans among 85 drivers at the ROK World Championship and I'm sure that by 2020 we will get even more wins and achievements”, says Miguel, who competes in the Mini category for drivers between 9 and 12 years old.

Miguel is part of the official Kart Republic team, which is led by experienced Italian coach Dino Chiesa, a key professional in the success of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg in karting, before they went on to become world champions in F1.
