The second round of the WSK Super Master will be held this weekend at the Cremona circuit, in Italy, and Brazilian Miguel Costa was one of the fastest in this week’s activities. A debutant in the KZ category this year, the Brazilian is excited to compete in the heats on the 1224 meter circuit.
“We are starting the second round of KZ, the tests were very productive here in Cremona, I was one of the fastest on Wednesday, so we made a lot of progress compared to the last track”, says Miguel, who is a driver for the Modena Kart team and runs on a Parolin chassis.
A rising star in the main international karting competitions, Miguel has attracted attention in all the categories he has been in, since the beginning of his career in American karting, until arriving in Europe, achieving a top-10 finish in the CIK FIA World Championship. In 2024, the driver will compete in the KZ and OK classes.
“I’m improving my physical shape because this season will demand a lot from me in the challenges. It’s only my second race at KZ, but the team has helped me a lot with my adaptation to karting, so I’m very happy. We have everything we need to achieve a positive weekend and the expectation is to fight up front”, adds Miguel.
The first KZ races in Cremona will be held this Friday, the races continue on Saturday and the final of the stage is scheduled for Sunday.
