Brazilian competes in the decisive stage of the continental competition in Cremona, Italy

One of the main names of Brazilian karting in Europe, Miguel Costa competes this weekend in the final round of the European Kart Championship, scheduled for Cremona, Italy. The driver, who since the beginning of the season defends the Parolin team, aims to fight for the podium and finish the continental competition among the top ten in the standings.

After three rounds, “Guel” appears in ninth position among the competitors of the OK class, the main one of the championship. In preparation for this weekend, the driver competed two weeks ago in the Champions of the Future, also held in Cremona. The “Champions” serves as the Open of the European Karting Championship, with all its stages held before the continental rounds.

“This weekend we are competing in the final round of the European Kart Championship, always with the aim of fighting for a place on the podium. But I also want to finish the championship in the top ten. I appear in ninth position and I believe I have the conditions to finish the championship among the best drivers”, says Miguel Costa.

The competition will have its first training sessions held this Thursday (27), with the qualifying heats being opened on Friday, followed by Saturday. The European Karting program in Cremona will end on Sunday with the finals.
