This weekend, the European Karting Championship will hold the second round of the 2024 season at the Val D’Argenton karting track in France. One of the highlights of brazilian karting on the Old Continent, Miguel Costa hopes to once again fight for the podium in the continental competition, where he will be racing in the OK category, the strongest in the tournament.
Miguel is coming off a good performance in the Champions of the Future event at the French karting track. On that occasion, the Parolin team driver managed to place in the top-10 in the qualifying heats and managed to climb positions in the final heat. The Brazilian also stood out in the opening round of the European Championship, in Valencia, where he was always among the fastest drivers.
“We’re going into the second round of the European Karting Championship with good expectations. The team and I have been doing good work and showing good speed, so we expect to be fighting for a podium place in France. We’re going to improve the kart in practice and aim for a positive result both in qualifying and in the heats so that we can be strong in the final,” said Miguel Costa.
The schedule for the European Karting Championship opens on Friday, with free practice, time trials and the first qualifying heats taking place on Saturday. Sunday is reserved for the super heat and final, which will be shown live on the competition’s YouTube channel.
