The weekend of karting in Europe will be marked by the opening round of the WSK Open Series, which will be held at the Franciacorta kart track in Italy and will bring together some of the best drivers on the planet. In the KZ category, brazilian Miguel Costa is one of the standouts on the grid, and the driver is hoping to fight for a podium finish in the first of the competition’s two rounds.
The Parolin team driver stood out in the opening round of the European Kart Championship, held in Valencia, Spain. On that occasion, Miguel was among the five fastest drivers for most of the time, leaving a good impression not only in the continental competition, but also for the rest of the 2024 season.
“We’re going back to KZ for the WSK Open this weekend, and I’m really looking forward to it. This is a very big event with the best riders on the world, including world and european champions. We’ll be looking for a good result before turning our attention to the Champions of the Future and the European Championship,” said Miguel Costa.
Activities in Franciacorta begin on Wednesday with free practice, which will continue on Thursday. Friday will feature time trials and the first qualifying heats, which continue on Saturday. Sunday is reserved for the pre-final and the final of the round.
