WSK Winter Test will be held starting Friday in Adria, Italy, where the first competition of the year is scheduled for January 19-23

Miguel Costa begins to prepare himself for the 2022 season in world karting. The Sauber Karting Team driver will take part on Friday (14) WSK Winter Test, an activity that will include some of the main kartists in the world, at the Adria kart track, in Italy. The Brazilian is still with the Kart Republic team this year, racing in the OK Junior category.

“We start the season with a lot of optimism. I’m still in the same category where I competed last year, but having evolved together with my team and working more and more on fine tuning the equipment,” said Miguel Costa, who left for European competitions after winning several titles racing in the United States.

The tests in Adria will be important not only to prepare for the season, but also because of the first competition of the year, the WSK Champions Cup, which will also be held at the Italian kart track on a one round event between January 19 and 23.

“We’ll be racing with great expectation. Of course, not all drivers will show full strength at the test, since the WSK Champions Cup will be held at the same kart track next week and hiding the game is even common this early in the year. But I need to worry about my work to fight for podiums and victories starting next week and also throughout the season”, added the driver.

Besides competing in the Champions Cup, Miguel Costa will take part in the other championships organized by the WSK: the Master Series, the Euro Series, the Open Cup, and the Final Cup. The Brazilian driver will also compete in the Champions of the Future, the FIA Karting European Championship and the World Championship, which is scheduled for September in Sarno, Italy.
