“It was a busy weekend for us in Sarno and we suffered from the strong heat. Anyway, I fought a lot in the races and I believe that we had a lot to learn and evolve over the weekend. We will work on the kart for the next stage and we will come back stronger ”, says Miguel, who was champion among the rookies in Italian Karting in 2019.
Miguel is part of the young talents of Sauber, which has a partnership with Alfa Romeo in F1. The driver competes in the Mini category and is the youngest Brazilian in the main kart competitions in Europe, wiht just 11 years of age. In 2019, Miguel achieved the feat of being rookie champion of the Italian Kart and will return to compete in this championship in the coming weeks.
“It has been an incredible experience to ride with the Kart Republic team in partnership with Sauber. Our structure is very good and I had some weeks of work with them playing three consecutive WSK stages. Now I will rest for a few days and soon we will be back to training for the next competitions. We want to fight again for the podium and victories ”, adds Miguel, who has the support of Baked Potato and Participates.
The WSK will have a break and return on September 14th. Miguel will continue to compete in the Italian Karting Championship.
