November 6, 2023Miguel Costa announces his future for 2024 after a good season in world karting
November 29, 2023The Brazilian competes in the WSK Final Cup, which runs this weekend in Lonato, and will have its final round next week in Franciacorta
One of the most talented Brazilian karting drivers in Europe, Miguel Costa will have back-to-back rounds to close out the 2023 season. The driver, who works for the Parolin team, is competing in the two WSK Final Cup races, scheduled for the Lonato karting track this weekend and Franciacorta the following week, both in Italy.
Costa is looking for a positive end to a season in which he stood out in important competitions. The Brazilian finished in the top 15 in the European Kart Championship, which took place over four rounds, as well as being one of the highlights of the World Kart Championship final, when he climbed the pack throughout the final of the competition, held in Franciacorta. For the WSK Final Cup, the driver’s expectations are high.
“I’m looking forward to the WSK Final Cup. Lonato is not a track that favors us, as it has a lot of hard starts and braking. But we’re going to try to be competitive. These are the last two rounds of the year and we’re going to have a great weekend,” said Miguel Costa.
Free practice sessions will be held from Friday onwards, which will also be the day for the qualifying session and the first qualifying heat. Saturday will see the last qualifying heats, while the pre-final and the deciding round will be held on Sunday.
