One of the Brazilian talents in international karting, Miguel Costa is back on the track this weekend, this time to take part in the final round of the WSK Euro Series, scheduled for the Sarno kart track in Italy. The Brazilian is confident of achieving a good result and finishing in the top five.
This will be Miguel’s first competition since the World Kart Championship, when he performed well, climbing the ranks throughout the championship final. In Sarno for the resumption of the WSK tournaments, the driver hopes to show speed and achieve good results in the qualifying heats in order to start in the top positions.
“I’m returning to the track, this time we’re going to race at Sarno. I’m very confident and we’re in good shape for this round. I want to finish in the top five and my expectations are very positive,” said Miguel, who finished the World Karting Championship among the top 20 drivers on the planet in the OK category, out of 111 entries.
The WSK Euro Series schedule begins on Thursday with free practice sessions, which will continue on Friday, the day also reserved for qualifying. The qualifying heats are scheduled for Saturday, with the finals on Sunday. The WSK YouTube channel shows the heats and finals live.
