F4 Spain: Miguel Costa goes to Navarra and aims for podiums at the end of the Winter Series
March 8, 2025Brazilian driver won the Sprint Race and finished the F4 winter championship in fourth place among the rookies, helping Campos Racing to the team title
One of the most promising brazilian single-seater drivers, Miguel Costa had his best weekend of the Spanish F4 pre-season. The brazilian driver won the rookie Sprint Race in Navarra and finished the same race on Saturday in second place overall. Miguel also returned to the podium on Sunday, this time with second place among the rookies in the Spanish Winter Championship (SWC).
“I’m happy with the weekend, with the victory in the rookies and the overall podium in the Sprint. We’re learning and growing with a lot of dedication and hard work. I’d like to thank Campos Racing for their help and support, as well as my coach, mechanic and engineer,” says Miguel, who closes the competition with four podiums in the rookie class.
Miguel faced great challenges throughout the weekend, including the wet track. After a first race in which he was hampered by an incident, the Brazilian put in a great performance in race 2 to reach the podium. In race 3, Miguel climbed from 15th to sixth overall.
“The rookie win was special, but on Sunday I still had my best race in F4 after starting from 15th to finish sixth overall and second among the rookies. It was a very positive weekend and one that leaves us very motivated for the rest of the season,” said Miguel.
With his good results this weekend and in previous rounds, Miguel was instrumental in helping Campos Racing take the team title in the competition. The rookie also managed to finish the rookie championship in fourth place and ended the overall championship in eighth place with 33 points, being the only South American in the top-10.
Miguel Costa’s attentions now turn to the Spanish F4 season, a championship that will have seven rounds, the first of which is scheduled for March 28th and 30th at MotorLand in Aragón.
