This weekend, the European Kart Championship will hold the final round of the 2024 season at the Kristianstad kart track in Sweden. And brazilian Miguel Costa hopes to repeat the speed he showed two weeks ago in the Champions of the Future, when he climbed 17 places in the final heat to fight for the top positions on the circuit in northern Europe.

At the “Open”, the Parolin’s driver was in the top-5 in free practice and always gained at least ten positions in the qualifying heats, a performance that guaranteed him a place in the final, when he climbed from 30th to 13th place, the top climb in the final. “Guel” is aware of his ability to gain positions, but hopes to start from the front in the European races.

“We have the last round of the European Kart Championship in the OK category this weekend in Sweden. I practiced on the simulator this weekend when we didn’t have any races and I’ve just come from an overcoming stage at the Champions of the Future. We’ll work to end the European Championship on a positive note,” said Miguel Costa.

Track activities in Kristianstad will open on Friday, with free practice, time trials and the first qualifying heats following on saturday. Sunday is reserved for the super heat and the final of the round and the championship, which will be shown on YouTube.
