The competition will hold the first of two rounds this weekend at Motorland Aragón, in Alcaniz

The European Kart Championship for drivers in the KZ category will begin this weekend with the Spanish round, scheduled for the Motorland Aragón kart track in Alcaniz. It will be the first time that brazilian Miguel Costa has competed in this class, defending the Parolin team among the KZ2 drivers, where he has been performing this year.

This season, the driver has competed in some of the WSK series championships in Italy in this category, showing good results, as he also did in the first round of the Italian Kart Championship. Costa is therefore aiming for a podium finish in the opening round of the continental competition this weekend.

“We’re starting the KZ European Championship this weekend with high expectations. We’ve had good results in this category and we’re going to Spain with our feet on the ground. We need to improve the kart in practice to be able to fight for the top positions in both the qualifying heats and the finals,” said Miguel Costa.

The Spanish round of the KZ Kart European Championship kicks off on Friday with free practice, time trials and the first qualifying heats. Saturday will be followed by the heats, while Sunday is reserved for the super heat and final, which will be shown on YouTube.
